About Prince George T1D Group

T1D group is committed to uniting Northern BC’s T1D community through events and fundraising. Meet others with T1D, get support, and make life-long connections! 

Funds raised for I Challenge Diabetes will enable us to run more awesome collab events like the sold out Prince George Family Adventure! 

I Challenge Diabetes, a Registered Canadian charity, was founded in 2007 by former Canadian Olympian Chris Jarvis, who rowed for Team Canada, and won gold in the Pan-Am games.
Diagnosed at age 14, he overcame many barriers to success throughout his high school, university and rowing career. He retired with the mission to provide the support he lacked, to youth living with T1D, to help them live inspired, empowered lives.
