Hi Brad, Thank you for running in the marathon and raising funds to challenge diabetes. Like many Canadians, Diabetes has affected members of my family. Run like the wind, and good luck setting a personal best! I look forward to seeing you at the finish line! Andrew

About Brad Sinex

I have been T1D for almost 20 years, passionate about ICD, and running. This year, at the ripe old age of 50, I am training to run the Calgary Marathon with a goal of finishing under 3 hours (not sure I’ll make it 😊, but I’m going to try!).

Throughout my journey I am going to be sharing my T1D and training challenges. I am currently using OminPod DASH with the Loop software creating a closed-loop insulin delivery system. At the moment, my weekly mileage is approximately 80 kilometers with a goal of working to 100 km/wk within the month of March.

As part of my effort, I would like to raise awareness and money for ICD and T1D. Please feel free to follow me on FB and Instagram as I share my journey.
