    What an amazing trial to take on to show how regardless of the highs and lows, you can make your goal. Thank you for your dedication to ICD and all those who benefit from its mission. I for one am greatful for all that it does to the diabetic community, and although it was around for me when I was younger, it’s there for my son and the many other children, youth, young adults and parents. Keep up the amazing work!!

About Chris' WCT Run


When we set our sights on raising $25,000 to celebrate ICD Day, we knew it was a BIG ASK.
And now Chris is taking another big swing in the name of transforming the lives of others living with type one diabetes 💙

Follow along as he takes on the 75km West Coast Trail - IN JUST TWO DAYS! - to bring visibility to our charity, and raise much needed funds to support our mission.

As a non-profit organization, I Challenge Diabetes relies on the help and support of people like you in the community to continue running our life-changing programs.

Every dollar donated will ensure kids like Daniel and Taeghan get to go to a summer sports camp where they feel empowered and inspired by peers and mentors just like them to do an injection by themselves for the first time!

…and that athletes like Beth don’t let their diabetes hold them back from pursuing their dreams of rowing competitively, because they’ve learned they can take on any challenge, even with type 1 diabetes

.…and youth like Maryna always have understanding souls to turn to after forming deep connections with fellow type 1s who’ve become life-long diabuddies.
